Prof. Dario Pavi\u0107, PhD"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Born in Split in 1977, he graduated in philosophy and sociology from the Centre for Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb, in 2002. He obtained his PhD in 2010 from the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, in the field of biology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He pursued further academic training at the University of California, Berkeley, Department of Demography, as part of the Junior Faculty Development Program, and at Utrecht University. He also completed study visits in Slovenia and the United States. He has participated in several research projects, published articles in Croatian and international academic journals, and presented his work at numerous international scientific conferences in Croatia and the United States. He has also delivered several invited lectures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His main research interests include demography, reproductive ecology, the application of statistical software, the teaching of scientific communication, and lifelong learning. At the Faculty of Croatian Studies, he teaches several courses in research methodology and statistics within the sociology programme.
